What is so special about a Firefighter performing my home inspection?

Nick Martin is deeply rooted in the community and committed to service in public safety. With more than 18 years as a Firefighter and EMT, Nick still volunteers locally and also serves as professional Firefighter, EMT, and HazMat Technician.

More than 20 years of training and a broad range of experience, including in general construction work, make Nick Martin the ideal choice for your home inspection. Nick has inspected buildings ranging from more than 200 years old to buildings still under construction, and the many stages that span those years.

On July 1, 2017, Virginia licensing requirements for a home inspector became much more strict and regulated. Additionally, the legal change now requires all inspections to be performed by a licensed inspector.

Nick is trained and certified by InterNACHI (Cert#: NACHI16110926), the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, and licensed by the Virginia DPOR (License: 3380001005), Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.

Nick's experience, keen investigatory skills, drive for perfection, and focus on safety makes him ideally suited to perform the inspection of your new home.

“I personally know what its like to have a home inspection that was not helpful and left a lot to be desired. I have also experienced a home inspection that was pleasant, comprehensive, and informative. I will do my best to ensure you have the second type of experience with me; this is my promise to you.” – Nick Martin
